Amazing winter tire
Purchased this tire for Honda CRV AWD. Nova Scotia winter. Love them, absolutely the best winter tire I have ever had. Highly recommend
Impressive tire for western Canada
I have put on 10,000 kms on these tires and have to say that I am extremely impressed with the performance in all conditions. I travel throughout rural western Canada and have encountered some terrible conditions but these tires have made glare ice, heavy snow, abrupt city intersection stopping a non issue. So far they have worn approximately 2/32nds, and have been rotated. No loss of studs. The increase in noise was minimal. I noticed it was a little louder up to 50kph on dry conditions, but if there's snow that is greatly reduced. At speeds of 100kph or higher I didn't really notice a change and keep in mind this is a base for Escape front wheel drive, not exactly the quietest car on the market. I spent hours researching the best winter tires for performance and wear and after reading about the success these tires had in Europe I figured why not give it a go.. and I'm glad I did. There's really no comparison between these and the previous set of studless (super popular) tired I had previously used and been used to. As far as negatives go, I don't have much to say yet. They work exceptionally well, the wear is good given the conditions and no loss of studs. I think if you're looking for a great set of winter tires and are on the fence about studs, Jump off the fence and give these a go. The increase in control will amaze you. I'm glad I did.
