The Stud's Last the Life of the Tread!
I'm a retired Automotive Service Manager, former Technician and Semi-Pro Race Car driver...I Know Tires! I did a ton of research before buying and was very impressed by the technical spec's! After I spent last winter with them on my 2017 Ford Explorer AWD in Moonbeam Ontario (North of the 49th Paralel)...my X-Ice North 4's greatly exceeded my expectations in all categories...they're studded, yet the quietest winter tire I have ever owned (except when stopping for a light on pavement), they provide the comfort and handling of a premium touring tire, the amount of traction is insane and likely unmatched in this category of tire's! I watched the evolution of tire technology for half a century, the tech in these tires has no completion at time of righting. TIP: When shopping for tires, tell your advisor (If he/she doesn't ask/qualify your need's) what & how your vehicle will be used/driven, who will be driving it and what you want/need your tires to do! Always remember, the best tire for your needs isn't always the one that's in stock or on sale, as well, ask yourself if ride comfort, handling confidence, longevity & most importantly, being able to turn/stop "effectively" when you need your families vehicle too, premium tires are really the best value because they do what you want & need them to do!

Bonne conduite mais la durabilité est douteuse.
Bonne conduite quand ils ne sont pas crevés. 2 crevaisons depuis le début de l'hiver. Vraiment tannée de niaiser avec ca.. surtout apres avoir payer 1200 pour des pneus neufs. Toujours en rupture de stock dans les détaillants près de chez nous donc je dois rouler des semaines de temps avec mon pneu de rechange. En 15 ans à conduire 2 sur 3 de mes crevaisons à vie étaient durant le 1er hiver de ceux-ci.

Canada winter is really rough but these tires keeps my family and I safe if the price is too much you need to ask yourself can you put a price on your families safety remember you can replace money but a life is precious

I always do a ton of research before buying tires, these Michelin X-Ice North 4 Studded Tires, are the first tires, to exceed my expectations! The technology in these tires, works amazingly well, they not only deliver superiors winter traction, there actually "QUIET" and the studs last the life of the tread!
Great tire for water conditions
Great tire for wet conditions. Do not hydroplane. Have a bit of vibration between 115 and 120 km/hr
Happy with my Michelin tires
I now have two sets of Michelin tires for all year round. Feel safe in icy snowy weather. And heavy rain storms in the summer.

Ultimate Northern winter grip
Avid winter traveler to ski resorts. The x-ice north 4 tires when I first say them, it was the perfect tires to get through any winter storm. The amount of winter studs adds confidence in icy roads. The tread pattern to bite through and stick to any snow covered road. My past winter was amazing and never worried about any road issue.
