Prematurely dry rot cracking of tire at 4 years Don't b
I have half thread left on tires but after 4 years the tires are very dry rotted. LTX M/S2. I need new tires because of that and tire shop will not warranty. Not sure I would purchase another set.
not very happy with the defender
I have purchase nothing but Michelin's for my 2001 mdx and 2005 tacoma. Always used the "lattitude tour" version and loved them. Probably went through a total of 5 or 6 sets. Now discontinued I went with the defender LTX on my tacoma. They are very noisy. I have to turn up my radeo at 35 MPH. yes, they handle great, but I can't stand the noise. Now my mom needs a set of tires for her 2013 avalanche and I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Professional Grade talking point the Bentley of tires all others tire it's a guy thing when guys see less tires on others guys Auto it's as if they have holes in the socks I look at other tires as if they would have paid a little more and got Michelins they could have not looked cheap

Awesome Tires
I've had the LTX AT 2, and the LTX M/S2 on my last two vehicles and just replaced a set of M/S2s with the new Defender LTX M/S. Very nice ride on my Tahoe, two things like like better over the M/S2, the tread is actually a little deeper which will help since I live in snow country in the winter. Also the ride seems better along with less road noise. Overall I think Michelin hit a home run with these. one Awesome tire and will recommend to anyone that asks!
Nice tires but the warranty is a hoax
I like the handling of these tires and they certainly were way more durable than the original tires on my Honda CR-V but this 90,000 mile treadwear warranty approaches hoax level. It won't benefit you unless you drive over 15,000 miles per year or more. Even if you rotate your tires BY AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER every designated period AND have that adequately documented, consider that it might take you longer than the warranty period to drive beyond the tire's ACTUAL lifespan. For me that was about 50,000, but it took me over 6 years to do it, and so out of warranty. Read the fine print - you also have to have PERFECTLY worn tires.

my opinion Michelin tires are the best I have had them on my Silverado truck since 2006 and just replaced with a new set; I am a ASE Master Technician I recommend them to my clients also; There customer service is second to none

Good braking but a little more noise than normal
I love Michelin tires and have always been pleased with them. I purchased these and traded them for a different Michelin because they made a lot of noise when I was driving on the highway. It may have been a defective tire in the mix, it was hard to tell. The service department traded them out for me. The tires did brake well and handled well in the rain.

Good, but not great
I purchased the tire set for a 2007 tundra, got about 5 years and 23000 miles and there is a decent amount of cracking and tread wear (enough to replace them). Far from the 70000 mile warranty. They were regularly rotated and taken care of, expected more from a higher priced and rated tire.

Excellent tires
I have had Michelin tires on 3 of my last vehicles and they have all been excellent in all kind of weather and conditions. They have a long tire wear and good grip on snow and ice.
