Great tire for small SUV/Crossover
I've been waiting for some ice and snow to test these little babies! We got it now, here in Montana!! At first, I was concerned that these tires would be too noisy or reduce fuel economy too much on my 2013 RAV 4. Totally unfounded!! These seem to be great tires here in snow country! The rubber compound seems soft and tacky in the cold temps, and seems to grip the roadways better. Braking in snowy/icy conditions feels strong and I just plowed thru 9" fresh snow confidently They give me a soft, comfortable ride on the hiway. I am totally pleased with my purchase so far (about 1500 miles on them) and plan to put a set on our Honda CRV.

Great Tires
I have these tires on my truck, 2009 F-150, and when it came time to get tires for my wife's SUV, 2007 Trailblazer SS, these were top on my list. Since installing them on the vehicle I am more pleased with them than I am on my truck. They are a lot quieter than the tires they were replacing, and the ride is much improved as well. I have been very happy with the quality and value of Michelin products.

Great Review for Michelin Defender
The Michelin Defender tires provided a 100% improvement to the quietness and smoothness of the ride on our 2010 Ford Edge. I am extremely impressed.

Noisy Defender LTX MS tires - Unhappy
I purchased a set of Defender LTX MS tires for 2010 Honda Pilot. My selection was made using the recommendations of the Michlein web site. I have purchased Michlein tires since the 1970's and have always been completely satisfied until now. These Defender LTX MS are very noisy and very annoying. Passengers have commented about the noise believing something was wrong with the tires. You would think I was driving on off road knobby tires based upon the noise these tires generate. Michlein should remove these tires from the market and/or emphasize or make the buyer aware of the noise issue. Buyer beware?

If only they would answer
I have been extremely satisfied with my tires. Unfortunately, now that I have to buy more, I can't get answers at the Ottawa Gloucester or Kanata Costco centers. So if you don't sell as many tires this month, blame Costco. I would recommend them any day of the week, but I might have to go with another brand since Costco won't answer my calls. Sorry Michelin
Weak sidewall
I sliced the side wall open while driving on hard top on a pice of lumber at low speed. Only 12,000 K on the set. Now wether to replace two or all four as its a 4X4. Disappointing, good fuel economy and ride though. Maybe I would have better luck with AT/2? Its the sort of failure I associate with off road use.
Outstanding Quality, Longevity and Performance
I am rating the LTX M/S2 tires that I replaced today (11/17/2016) with Michelin LTX A/T2 tires. I logged a total of 70,752 miles on those LTX M/S2 tires and received service from them for 5 years with no dry rot, no premature aging or premature wear. I could have logged another 3,000 miles on the ones I replaced today but decided to go ahead and install new ones for the winter. I have bought only Michelin tires (after negative experiences with other brands) since 1996. In fact, when I have purchased a new vehicle that wasn't equipped with Michelins, I would immediately replace them with Michelins.

Good tires
Good tires, holding up well. They are used on a rough, rocky dirt road everyday.
So far so good
Wearing evenly. Dont think theyll last the quoted distance. But we will see. Not good in snow.
