Best tire on the market
The Michelin Pilot Super Sports were purchased to replace my factory PS2s on my IS F. I upsized the tires, and they have such great grip. Taking corners at higher speeds is no trouble. I had a chance to test these out in wet conditions as well. Braking was superb and provided excellent stopping power, much more than the PS2s. For the price, these are as great as a car owner can get. Above and beyond performance, great handling, and can stop on a dime unlike any of the other tires I've tested. My only concern will be tread life. This isn't my track car, but on a daily basis, it should see considerable wear and tear. Only the best for my F, though, and Michelin PSS is the way to go!
Super tire just no tread life
Awesome tire for the track or if you are rich for the road I put these on my heavy car and didn't get 10,000 miles out of them until they where shot . I love Michelin tires and is all I buy.

I use my Pilot Super Sports for spirited driving (mostly in the city) with my Honda Civic Si. The tires have great grip, they're excellent in the rain, and the treadwear is great so far!
Best tires, I would buy this tires again
These 235/40ZR-18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport XL tires are on my 2007 Audi A4 3.2 Sports Line and they are GREAT!!! These tires have better traction, rides smoother and quieter than before. Most of all, they made the car feel much better, leading to greater confidence when cornering and braking and thus, overall safety. I would certainly recommend these tires to my family members and friends. One should never compromise on brakes and tires and this is a good example of me buying these excellent tires for summer driving. I am extremely pleased with the overall performance of these tires.
Best tire on M5.
Running them on 08 M5, great tire. Hung in there for track day, should give an indication on how I drive, great grip on dry, better than expected on wet. Overall best tire I've had on the car since new. Looks like I will get the best wear out of them.

Just purchased for my 2002 Lexus IS 300 and love how quiet They are the best since I have owned this car. The handling Is outstanding and would definitely recommend this tire For a great low profile high rated tire. So far so good!

Installed the Pilot Super Sports about 6 weeks ago on my 2012 Mercedes C Class on 18" AMG rims and WOW!! Unfortunately last week my Porsche 997 had a nail in the sidewall of it's RE050's and although not quite ready for a new set of tires it was just the excuse I needed....so on went the Pilot Super Sports. Although not Porsche N Spec, the P Dealaer recommended and installed them. Noticeable break-in period of a few hundred miles on both cars until the tire 'settles' then you really will start to grin, so if you think they are good as you first drive off after installation just wait. Outstanding wet weather traction, really impressive stability, and also exceptional braking performance wet and dry. You WILL transform your ride, even the fussiest of you out there. I offer no hesitation in recommending these (and in fact am telling people I know to buy them). No sense of wear yet, plus both cars are staggered wheel setups so I cannot rotate. Well done Michelin.
longest tread life ever on a performance
as a performance car enthusiast, I always have high performance tires on my cars. after having chewed through a several sets of p-zero's, I switched to pilot super sports and have not looked back! better handling, braking & cornering and almost 50% more tread life. I just took delivery of a new SLS GTC and it came with pilot super sports as standard. I guess the boys in Affalterbach have finally discovered what I already knew!

I have a set of 255/35 and 275/30 on my 2005 M3 ZCP that I mainly use as a daily driver I absolutely love these tires they hold up well, grip superb, and after a few month and a few thousand miles later they still look and handle like I just put them on. Only complaint I have is why I never got these sooner and why wernt they free
Amazing in the dry, amazing in the wet.
I finally see why these tires are one of the top rated ones out there. They are amazing in the rain and very sticky when it's dry. They wear very well and aren't noisy at all. You really get the best of both worlds with this tire and none of the compromises. I will definitely buy Super Sports again.
