It is not good as what they shows when you went for purchase
HR, sorry to read that you rated the Defender2 very low. Not sure what the complaint is, but remember, there is a 60 day satisfaction guarantee with this tire. Simply return to the selling retailer for the tires to be swapped out.

Excellent purchase
Bought them just before heading south for the winter, excellent, nothing to report so that is a good thing.
Good grip on wet surfaces
It's only been a week, but what a difference with these tires! Much quieter and more stable than the originals with 47,000 miles that they replaced.
Harsh ride
These new Defender 2 tires provide a very harsh ride. I feel every little road imperfection. Especially noticeable at very low speeds. Feels like the tire is thumping, as though out of round. They are not. Have had dealer check and redo balance twice, last time on a Hunter Road Force Balancer. Tires and wheels all check out within all vehicle and tire specs. No manufacturing defects were noted (i.e. broken or separated belts, etc.). Tires are structurally sound. Also, alignment is perfect. I've had five sets of the prior version of this tire on different cars, Defender T & H, and was very satisfied with the performance and comfort. Never received the advertised 90K miles on any of those tires - more like 45-50K. But did not care. They gave a good ride. These Defender 2's feel like they are inflated to 50 lb! Very hard ride. But, I'll get used to them I am sure.

Great Noiseless Tires
I researched tires for my 2013 Mazda3 and came to the many good reviews for the Defender 2. After driving around town, I can feel the difference between my OEM tires and the Defender 2. Definitely a lot less noise!

I love Michelin tires, will not buy any other brand again if I can help it. Most comfortable, quiet longest lasting tires I have ever had.

Very noisy
Just installed a set of Defender 2 tires, re placing the Defender tires purchased 3 years ago. To my surprise the new tires a New tires are very noisy despite Michelin claiming they are very quiet. The ride of the tire is very hard and as a result it creates a very noisy Ride when travelling on a rough road. Not sure why you changed the style of tire.

I like them
I bought them a few weeks ago from Costco.They are very quiet which was important to me. Where I live it is important in winter to have tires with either a snowflake or an M&S rating on the tire. It took me almost 10 minutes to find the M&S on these tires, it is tiny and very hard to find! Other than that they are great.
