Great features. Superb performance on ice and snow
I bought Michelin Defenders in summer of 2023
I've owned Michelin tires now for approximately ten years, I have both summer and winter and wouldn't own any of the others

First set of Michelin's
Best tires I have ever owned. I have mainly leased in the past and OEM was never Michelin. I have worked in and around cars for a good part of my career and as an enthusiast as well, I always knew Michelin was the best. When it came time to replace all 4 on my wifes SUV, I knew there was only one brand. Handles like a dream in the rain, they absorb bumps and potholes much better than her old tires, and I feel way more confident with this rubber than other tires I have experienced. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.
Best tires I've ever owned!
These are the best tires I've ever had in my life and it isn't even close! They are 80,000-mile tires and I have 80,000 miles on them. I'll be replacing them with the exact same tire shortly, just waiting for a day off work. I'm really in no hurry, the tires look like I could still squeeze another 5,000 miles out of them. I originally bought them because I was told they are very smooth and quiet, the complete opposite of the stock tires on my Rav4. They were correct, these tires make my SUV drive like a luxury sedan. I'm a frugal guy and these tires are well worth the investment.

Not What I expected
These are not like the Defender LTX. Disappointed in the ride and look. The side walls look like something you would put on a SUV or Truck that would be trail riding. The side wall is not a smooth design like the LTX. The Defender 2 seem like they are pushing my crossover. In fact I looked at the tire wondering was it one directional. It is not. I would not recommend for small Crossovers. Note: I have Defender LTX on our 4 Runner and FJ Cruiser. The Defender LTX is a 5 Star. The Defender 2 definitely not a 5 Star.
