Great tire handles well
Just installed these on my 2018 Street Glide love them have not had a chance to put many miles on them yet due to Covid restrictions here in Canada . I bought these to replace my factory tires had 12000 miles on them I bought the Michelin Commander 3 as I was planning on heading to do Route 66 and Sturgis but the boarder is closed as of now so trip cancelled . I like a tire that lasts and good in the rain so far no disappointment in these tires

First set of Commanders
This is the first set of Michelin tires I've ever used on any of my Harley Davidsons and I've had a few. I had always used the Dunlop Elite tires that come stock on the touring models. Most of my riding was done on New England roads and interstates. Since I retired and now live in Florida and the roads and conditions are very different. Up north I was getting anywhere from 16000 to 20000 miles on the Dunlops but here in Florida the road conditions and extreme heat reduced the mileage to a paltry 9000 miles before the would be so worn in the center that cornering was noticebly noisier. I've logged about 6500 miles on the Commander III's and the handling and wear are terrific so far. I'm looking forward to many more miles on this superior tire.

Excellent Upgrade from stock
Had these tires installed on my 15 Road Glide and had to pick it up with a little rain coming down. Instantly noticed how sticky the tires were compared to stock tires. Trying to lean the bike was a little harder as the tires wanted to grip. No more overpowering when taking off at a light on a wet road either. Ive leaned this bike pretty hard and never lose traction in the mountain curves. Great tire. More than happy with purchase.

Best Tires I've Owned
I was waiting for my stock tires (Dunlop Elite 3) on my 2016 Indian Chief Darkhorse to wear down so I could get a set of Michelin Commander II's. I ended up getting a flat rear tire and was excited to get a new set. I had the Commander II's on my old bike and loved them, they were my favorite tires so far. When I went to order them, I saw that Michelin just released the Commander III's. After comparing specs between the two I went with the new 3's. I could not be happier with my decision. Both sets have great road feel and handle wet conditions with ease, but somehow Michelin was able to improve their already awesome tires in just about every way. I can't speak about the longevity of the Commander III series since I only have about 1,000 miles on them, but they look pretty new still. I got over 9,000 miles on the Commander II set before I sold that bike. So if they're anything like that, I will be happy. Pros: Awesome road feel Great grip in bad weather Smooth and easy to hold a line on curves Looks are subjective, but I love the way these look on my bike Cons: The sportbike like aspects of the tires (not knobby at all) aren't the best when riding on gravel

Long Distance Touring Tire
I have a 2014 Victory Cross Country that I have put 128,000 miles on, I have ran several sets of Commander II's on it and have really liked their performance, so if the Commander III is better than they are this will be a outstanding tire, I currently have about 5000 miles on them, lot of mountain riding, they hold the road great in the curves and are showing little wear. Most of my riding is two up and loaded, these tires are very stable with weight on them.

Fantastic
Tires feel like they perform even better as milage is added. Reason for only 4 stars on Wet Surface Grip and Longevity is due to I have not had the opportunity to ride in rain as of yet, but monsoon season is now here in AZ. Also have not had tires that long. After several hundreds of miles on these you gain a trust and confidence from the performance of these tires. I immediately felt the comfort and grip while hitting curves. Would definitely recommend these tires to all riders.

Commander III touring set
I have ridden with Commander II and Dunlop American Elites, and the Commander IIIs are impressive in comparison. The stickiness of this tire is unreal. I have no problem throwing my 900 pound Street Glide into a corner with great confidence. So far I've put 4k miles on them, and there is no noticable wear. I fully expect to get 20k outta the back tire.

Vibration
Yes about these tires I’m getting a lot of vibration though I took back to the dealer I bought it from he said they’re fine but they’re not the same like my Dunlops not too happy with them I even get a wobble

Great ride-almost
I have ran the Commander II on a couple motorcycles and was excited about the Commander III coming out. I ordered a set for my 2014 Limited Ultra. I was disappointed with front tire vibration from 25-35 mph and some noise at 60 mph. When I from one side to another, the vibration and noise go away; with the bike straight up, it appears. I didn't have this with the Commander II. The ride and handling is superb, traction is excellent. I was caught in a heavy downpour on the interstate with no issues whatsoever. The tires do not track with highway grooves or seams.
