Excellent Grip!
I gave a try to Primacy 3 on my Civic and this tire gives me completely a new driving experience due to its ability for being ‘silent’ and almost no noise (not engine/wind sound). Comfort driving for long distance travelling especially on highways. Used the tire for 3 years and still got half tread left although the material start hardened. Last week, I changed all tires to Pilot Sport 3. Although this tire is little bit noisier than Primacy 3, it gives me great confident, very good steering respond and excellent grip especially during heavy rain. Run over puddle on the highway this morning on high speed (>110 Km/H) and the car remain stable.

I have completed over 44k kms on a set of 4 tires with rotation, balancing and alignment at every 10k kms. It has performed very well on dry and wet with very good grip and stopping range. Only one minor concern is the slightly noticeable road noise on certain type of surface. I will get another set of 4 Michelin tomorrow, different model for comparison.
Perfect tyres for the enthusiast
I travel a fair amount and needed a good set of tyres so safety and grip is my top priority. Given that I've researched a whole lot of brands, I've decided to switch to the PS3 and I've not regret ever since. The best thing about these tyres are the grip. Immediately I noticed that the ABS on my car interferes less when I brake hard, giving more confidence in braking. Secondly is the steering response especially when I take corners. Not so great is the rolling resistance. Of course, when the grip is much better the rolling resistance is higher, translating to approximately 5% higher fuel consumption.

Hi Michelin, Just want to say thank you. I can't say enough about it. It's simply a brilliant tyre. I've gone tnrough a few sets of tyres over the years but it never ceases to amaze me. The grip in the wet and dry is simply phenomenal. I've tried many different brands of tyres but this tyre is king. My work ( I am a psychological counsellor) takes me to numerous schools all over Victoria. I travel through some pretty challenging roads but since discovering the PS3, I drive quietly confident that I will reach my destination safely to enable me to provide the much needed support our kids need during times of distress. MIchelin Pilot Sport 3
I have my third set of Pilot Sports under my Vectra V6, the grip is incredible, the car stops and turns in half the space you would anticipate. Driving fast on winding roads is precise, no bounce back. I also have a second sports car which had other well known brand tyres, I threw them away and put Pilots 3 under that too, absolutely fantastic, precise and incredible grip braking and cornering. That is passive safety, i like it.

Car came out with Michelin and now this size is no longer available. So I need to change brands Saw one dealer who felt instead of 205 we could get a wider tyre. However he has not got back with availability. Looks like I need to pump up the bicycle tyres. The vehicle is a 2.4T 2000 Volvo Sedan.
Excellent standard size tyre
Almost unnatural wet grip and very good in the dry. They just hold and hold and fill you with plenty of confidence, car is absolutely planted to the road. Rolling resistance is quite high so fuel economy isn't great compared to Yoko S.Drive I had, but that's not why you buy an EVO IX. Being very soft, they don't last especially with spirited driving. I've done only around 3000kms on them so far. I'll try to write a review after 10-15k kms. Side walls were surprisingly soft which, considering the grip is good, isn't a bad thing for your back at all. All around they are very good tyres for a sport car considering the price before and now.
Best all round tyre
The Pilot Sport 3 is a phenomenal tyre. It's been round for years, and is consistently in the top five of most any tyre shootout you can find. It's because of this that I chose it for my Subaru Liberty. 12 months on, I know I made the right choice. Dry road grip is outstanding and I've never had so much confidence in the wet as I do with these tyres. Road noise is neglegible, but performance is always priority anyway in my opinion. Be aware thogh, they don't like the mud. The tread fills up very easily and they're like driving on ice. If you're a spirited driver on the bitumen like myself, then look no further; these are the tyres for you.
