Lesson learned: smaller tires for winter?
I bought these tires last winter and they impressed in terms of virtually no increase in noise level, no change in performance and minimal impact on fuel economy. Unfortunately I was disappointed in their performance on snow and ice - slipping more on my AWD Audi than my previous FWD car using x-ice tires. I've since learned that it might be better to have purchased smaller winter tires but have never had to do that before on previous vehicles to achieve confident traction using x-ice tires.

I got these yesterday for my 2018 Golf R. Amazing grip in subzero temps, cant wait to try them out in the snow!

Great winter tire
I drive my rear wheel drive car year round. By switching my Michelin Pilot Super Sports for Michelin Pilit Alpin PA4s in cold weather, I maintain the grip and performance I need for my driving style. I'm able to put power down and go for a spirited drive even in winter conditions. I'm confident enough, with these tires, to leave traction control off in the winter too! This is the best winter tire I've ever used.

The best winter tires I have ever owned! The wet and dry traction is exceptional and awesome in the winter and rain. The tread wear is really good and lasting longer than expected. I would highly recommend these tires and will buy them again

My first performance Winter tires
These will not disappoint you. I drove from Montreal to Ottawa in a storm I didn’t expect. It was a confident drive and very glad I had these on.

Winter tires
I bought these tires last fall for my BMW 540. As always I am very satisfied with Michelin. These tires allow me to enjoy high performance driving even on a winter tire.
