Very very good!
Bought a set of these for my new VW Taos. Great looking and even better performing! I've had many sets of winter tires over the years, these are easily the best! It's been both very icy and snowy here in the last few weeks and the X-Ice snow has been very sure footed in all conditions. They are also very quiet on dry pavement. I've always been a big fan of Michelins all season and Pilot series tires, now I'm sold on their winter tires as well!

No issues on RWD cslammed car...
Honestly everyone is complaining these tires suck on there AWD escapes or rav4s or CRVs w/e i have a set (only 2) on the back of my genesis coupe that sits like 1 inch off the ground and it trucks through snow, ice, slush, I think a lot of you need to just learn to drive in the snow.

Even better than before!
As someone who has used the X-Ice line in the past, but felt that on-center feel was lacking, the new version is a revelation. Snow tires are certainly not intended to allow drivers to centrifuge their passengers like a dedicated summer tire will, but these do surprisingly well. Extremely impressed with these on my rear drive BMW wagon.

Excellent on snow!
They hold extremely well on snow and let you Drive with confidence. Ford Explorer 2021 4WD. Note: I tried 4 Seasons tire on my previous car, they were pretty much useless on snow and chains were always required, not anymore.

Disappointed!!!
Extremely disappointed with these tires. They costed me 1335 CAD, they should be high quality tires. These are kind of tires that give you maximum 10% better performance than all season. My all season tires are the Hankook Dynapro ATM and these X ice snow are the same performance, I slide in corners and intersections with 4X4 For Ranger 2020. Don't buy, I guess Michelin has lower quality of the tire after good reviews of earlier version of the tire. Last time buying any Michelin product.

x-ice tire
THE MOST DANGEROUS TIRE FOR THE WINTER EVER!!! ANYTHING THAN JUST A WET ROAD OR DRY ROAD THESE TIRES ARE JUNK!! As soon as the snow falls it's safer to walk.

surprisingly disappointed
Well....I am the first to be surprised at writing a not so good review, especially after having used the x ice, previous to the x ice 2 suv tire, on the very same 4runner. The old x ice were great in comparison! 1000 km on tires, typical montreal light snow at -6C on ploughed suburban streets doing 20-30 km/h, a little bit of slush and medium compact snow, no big deal. ABS activates 70% of the time while slowly braking, anti slip activates 50% of the time while slowly accelerating; with the old x ice abs would practically never activate and the anti slip would literally never activate under the same conditions. What went wrong Michelin? Once again, I am so surprised. And all this on the very same 4runner, which is a heavy vehicle. Who knows, maybe they are great in deep snow on rural roads, have not tried that yet. But for the city, no, not so good. I would use the 10 year old x ice tires I had, and maybe the x ice 2, any day. Is it the tread design, is it the new rubber compound? They "look" more aggressive but looks are not everything. I'll say it again, so surprised that I am writing this review, and yes I did check for proper tire pressure.

Great on Snow
I like the quality of the tires purchased, but outside of the snow the car steering feels very "loose". I guess with snow tires, there isn't much to do though.

The Best Snow Tires!
I have been driving with these for 2 months now, and they are the best snow/ice tires Ive had. Even driving on black ice, you dont slip. Everyone else is slipping on the roads from the ice and I dont even feel the ice. I definetly recommend these tires, it makes winter driving so much safer.
