Too much lateral sway
I purchased a set of X ice snow about a month Complaint is that there is a lot of lateral movement/sway in quick response It seems as to the point of being dangerous and unstable at high speeds. As far as Strait lines stability in very bad weather, the tires do function as advertised. I have also tried increasing tire pressure by 3 pounds of pressure all around and no successful results.
So far ahead of the competition its basically summer in these tires.
Wow, simply wow. After owning many sets of studded nokians and them becoming compromised by 50%, as in the studs are worn and they function no better and a all season. I thought this time I'd shop around and michelins "total performance" had me intrigued. I looked into it more and read reviews of michelin wearing down a new x ice snow to 50% and it performing nearly as well as new. I thought and try them out. As I only have about 2000km on them I can't contest to their function when worn. But right now at new they easily out perform my passed nokians even without studs on anything besides an ice rink. I am 100% satisfied with these and if they hold true on their "total performance" I don't see me ever buying another nokian again. As usual michelin did a great job.

Great tire just does not last long
I am going on to my third season with them and might have to replace them before the season ends as I have already put on over 40,000 km on these tires and are getting to the wear zones on them. Otherwise I am happy just wish that they lasted longer
Tires lost grip after x1 winter and 7,000 kms
Bought late 2022, second winter, 7,000 kms Micheling is processing the claim at 9.5/32 I noticed them end of last winter losing grip, but i thought it a perception on my end. This Sunday, first snow event, lost control sideways and other driversgave me room to react. Yet I was on a Top rated wintertire, and others left me room, on icy conditions.... Tried in other conditions, 30 km hour ABS engages. Did the finger block test, the compound is unusually hard at -3C, it should be softer,,,

When I bought my Honda Ridgeline in 2022 I purchased these tires before leaving the dealership so I would have a premium winter tire for the harsh winter conditions in northern Ontario. I've been well pleased with the traction, ride quality and quietness of the X- Ice snow SUV
I want a better ride in the snow then my taco in the snow after getting hit and getting it written off and I found it
Fantastic snow and rain tire on my awd , way better than my Tacoma 4x4 with full on snows
