All I use is Michelin tires I loved the commander twos then you guys came out with Commander threes. They are much better. I love the commander threes don’t get me wrong. I would buy commander two too.
Me and my wife purchased a 2026 road glide Towers, Bourbon Barrel Harley Davidson Paducah KY, Kentucky
The newer ones have really improved
I am on my second set of Commander 3’s on my 2017 Road Glide Ultra. The first set I put on were noisy and had balance issues. We later found them to be out of round, but they really helped the handling. It made the bike a lot quicker to turn than the factory Dunlops. When I wore the first set out, I got a new set and these were very smooth. It made my bike feel brand new all over again. I will buy these again, and would recommend them to anyone!
Not Empressed
They have a lot of vibration compared to the commander 2s especially in the front. I know take it a dealer and have them inspect the bike. I never had this problem until I put these tires on. They are properly mounted, balanced and inflated. The bike has beened checked and checked again. Why do you not comment on some of the reviews where they took the bike to a dealer or changed tires and problem went away? I think it is a poor design. I will be going back to the commander 2s. Don't waste the extra money! Longevity: Good Grip: Ok Stability: Poor Traction: Ok Wear: Good

Road trip
Michelin has Always made great tires Gripping the road on motorcycle is the most important safety. Longevity and durability are qualities of Michelin materials
Great tires that grip the road
I run these tires on my touring bike. They wear well lasting a long time. They grip well on wet surfaces, and they maintain that traction as the tires wear.
Once you ride on these tires you will not go back
You cannot go wrong with these tire. They last 30-40K miles, they grip the road like no other and I love how they are not noisy. These are the only tires that I will put on my bike
I’ve been a Michelin tire user for many years, and they’ve always set a high bar for ride quality and confidence on my Harley-Davidson touring bikes. When the original Commander 3 first came out, I’ll be honest, the early harmonic vibration reviews gave me pause. Because of that, I decided to try a competitor’s touring tire instead. After running those for a while, I recently made the switch back and installed the Michelin Commander 3 – 2nd Generation Touring on my 2022 Harley Ultra Limited, and I’m genuinely impressed. Whatever refinements Michelin made between the early Commander 3 feedback and this 2nd generation clearly worked. The ride is smooth, stable, and confidence-inspiring at highway speeds, with noticeably improved feel compared to my previous setup. Handling feels planted in sweepers, straight-line tracking is excellent, and road feedback is controlled without being harsh. Any concerns I once had about harmonics are completely gone on my bike. Overall, this tire feels like a true evolution of the Commander line and a solid upgrade for heavy touring motorcycles. Based on this experience, I won’t hesitate to stick with Michelin going forward. I’m already planning to purchase another set of Commander 3 2nd Generation Touring tires for my Road King. Highly recommended for riders looking for a smooth, dependable touring tire from a brand that continues to listen and improve.
