Disappointed
Purchased Commander lll front tire couple days ago. Vary dissatisfied with tire. Vibration at different speeds and really noticeable above 60 mph. Went back to dealership and had them rebalance tire. Same vibration issues after rebalance. Tech who test rode bike says no issues. There’s definitely a vibration problem with these tires. After researching I see that many individuals are experiencing the same issues. Michelin needs to step up and address theses issues.

I don't trust these tires
I spun out and wrecked my bike with very little moisture/dew on the road way and since then I do not trust these tires even in everyday use. I will go back to the Dunlop I use to run on my 2018 Road Glide Ultra
Hi Sisk, thank you for your review. Our consumer care department will be contacting you.

Vibration issues with Front Commander 3
I have about 8K miles on the front Commander 3 of my 2015 Indian Roadmaster. I have same vibration as others have stated. Before these I ran several sets of commander 2s and never had a problem. I am going back to the Commander 2s for that reason and would suggest avoiding the C3's to all

Commander III Front Tire Vibration
Purchased a set of Commander III tires for my 2015 Ultra Limited. First ride out noticed a vibration/buzz in the front tire between 40 to 50 km,ph . Contacted dealer and than Michelin. Found out that they are having a problem with this tire and the second rep I talked to at Michelin admitted to this being a problem. They said that they will take care of the problem, will wait and see. Next time I will read the reviews first. Had commander II,s before and were great tires, will probably go to a different brand next time, will see what happens. Have not had them on long enough to give a accurate review as to there performance.
Thank you for your review, Maron. If you should be worried about your tires, you took the right steps to contact your dealer and our Consumer Care department.

front tire is noisy at 55 mph
These sound like truck tires at 55 mph. They are now like the classic Commander II's. The front is terrible.

6K miles and no signs of cupping on the rear tire as yet!
130/80B17 front; 180/65B16 rear on my 2015 CVO Road Glide. So far......so good...... snappy handling and showing little signs of wear. All other brands I've used on my 2010 FLHTK and 2011 FLTRUSE had begun cupping on the rear tire by 6K miles. My only concern is an odd oscillating sound emanating from the front tire while cruising upright on the centerline of the tread. Tilt the bike either left or right and the sound disappears.
Thank you for your review, Denny.

Not for Kawasaki Voyager
Just had a Command III installed on my 2017 Kawasaki Voyager with less than 10k mileage. Prior to install, bike road as smooth as silk. As soon as new tire was installed on front, high frequency vibration on decel and 50-65mph. Not a good tire for my bike
Hi Jeff, thank you for sharing your experience on Michelin motorcycle tires. It is important for you and/or your installer to check the proper fitment of any motorcycle tire to ensure it is compatible with OE specifications. You can find the recommended tires on our website www.michelinman.com/motorcycle. Given the information you provided, we understand your rear tire size is 170/70B16, which is not available in any Michelin brand tires, so you may have an aftermarket rim. If this is the case, we agree with you that it is, “not good for my bike” and do not recommend running any Michelin tires on your motorcycle.

Commander III is a bust
Many guys I ride with bragged about how much better their bike rode with Commander II tires than H-D's factory Dunlop. By the time I need to replace mine, Commander III was out. As much as I dislike the Dunlop, they are a WAY better ride than C III. Vibrating "hum" between 50-60mph. Went back to shop where it was installed and they ordered a replacement. Replacement does exact same thing. I wish I would have looked on the reviews here before I purchase the new Commander IIIs. Live and learn I guess.
