Review Summary

The tires provide a comfortable ride and good performance on dry pavement, but struggle with traction in snow, ice, and wet conditions. Many customers reported poor tread life, with the tires needing replacement well before the expected mileage. Overall, the tires may be suitable for dry road use, but are not recommended for driving in wintry weather or off-road.

A big dissapointment. Hopefully with a positive outcome.

I don't know where to begin with this review. I have always been a fan of Michelin, and i was excited when my brand new F-150 came with them as a factory installed tire.I purposely looked for one that had Michelin over the Hankook option. I am now regretting this, as I am at 9,500 miles, and am having Wear issues, chunking, and age cracking. These have been run from day 1 at the recommended door tag pressure. When the issues began, i took the truck to the dealer to ensure the alignment was not to blame.they confirmed that the alignment was perfect, and rotated them. Problems persist. I have taken this to my dealer and began the process of assistance with these faulty tires. I was hoping that it would be taken care of due to the lack of miles, and properly aligned truck. The answers from the dealer make it seem like I'm going to get the run-around from what i thought was a top tier tire company. The tires continue to wear the edges and i am concerned this will be drawn out and blown off which will force me to stray from Michelin and their partners for all of my vehicles. I would much appreciate a direct response, at which point we can resolve this, or i can put you in contact with the dealer if you would prefer. My goal here is to put tires on this truck that i can trust, and not lose faith in your company. I have added photos, but they really don't make the wear clear. I would gladly have someone from your company see them in person and confirm that they are subpar.

Disappointing Wear

Came with new 2019 F-150 XLT Crew Cab. 17000kms now with only around 12000kms on the tires (Different winters) and they are incredibly disappointing. 2 are extremely worn even though my truck spends 90% of it's time in ECO mode and 2WD. When I bought the truck these were listed as "AT" tires, take that with a grain of salt, these are highway tires with a little groove on the side tread to make them look AT, on anything other than smooth dry asphalt these are absolute junk. Logging roads with a tiny bit of washboard will make these go totally wild. Can't wait to replace these the spring with something actually All-Terrain. Last set of Michelins I ever buy

Good on dry and light wet pavement, terrible in snow.

I got them in April with my 2020 ford F-150, as soon as it started to snow in Alberta they were spinning in light snow. right now i'm trying to switch them for other tires.

Great on dry pavement

These look nice and are quiet on dry pavement. Unfortunately, I do not find them acceptable in any snow or ice.

I recommend this tire

durable & quiet

OEM tires on 2018 F150 4X4 supercrew. purchased in April 2018. Already 34,000 miles and still look new. Nominal tread wear.

Beware in the snow

These tires came stock on my 2019 f-150 xlt sport. During the summer months they were fine, a bit noisy, tend to wander on grooved pavement but not terrible. We got our first snow of the year last week and these tires are simply scary to have on my truck. at 20 MPH under soft braking i would slide with the ABS system doing everything it could to no avail. From a stop, on slightly packed snow in 4x2 with the transmission set to snow/ice driving mode i could not go forward. The wheels would spin and the rear end would kick out to the side. Do NOT get these tires if you live in a state that has any chance of snow/ice in the winter time.

disappointed

Came on my 2019 F150. They ride smooth and quiet but they follow the cut grooves in concrete roadways. Not a good feature for towing a trailer. Haven't tried them in snow. I've always liked Michelins, this is the first set I've ever had any complaint with

I recommend this tire

Astonishing Life on HD Dually

Really surprised by these tires, came stock on my 2018 3500HD 4x4 dually, have 50k on them now. Wear characteristics have been fantastic, I rotate every oil change and they have stayed even and smooth. I work on power lines across the country and these have been in everything from Pennsylvania snow to Georgia mud and I'm continually surprised by how competent the tires are on a mix of terrains. Easily best stock tires I've had from the factory and longest life tires, by far, I've had on a 1 ton dually. For all around use and great life, they're fantastic.

Good on dry pavement

These tires came with my new F150. The tires look good, are quiet and handle well on dry pavement. However, in light snow and on any ice, they struggle to maintain traction. I would not purchase these when replacements become necessary since I regularly encounter snow and ice.

So So Tire

These tires came with my new F150. They are smooth on dry surfaces and fine on moderate dirt. I am not impressed with handling in light snow or slippery conditions.
