Review Summary

The tires provide a comfortable ride and good performance on dry pavement, but struggle with traction in snow, ice, and wet conditions. Many customers reported poor tread life, with the tires needing replacement well before the expected mileage. Overall, the tires may be suitable for dry road use, but are not recommended for driving in wintry weather or off-road.

A big dissapointment. Hopefully with a positive outcome.

I don't know where to begin with this review. I have always been a fan of Michelin, and i was excited when my brand new F-150 came with them as a factory installed tire.I purposely looked for one that had Michelin over the Hankook option. I am now regretting this, as I am at 9,500 miles, and am having Wear issues, chunking, and age cracking. These have been run from day 1 at the recommended door tag pressure. When the issues began, i took the truck to the dealer to ensure the alignment was not to blame.they confirmed that the alignment was perfect, and rotated them. Problems persist. I have taken this to my dealer and began the process of assistance with these faulty tires. I was hoping that it would be taken care of due to the lack of miles, and properly aligned truck. The answers from the dealer make it seem like I'm going to get the run-around from what i thought was a top tier tire company. The tires continue to wear the edges and i am concerned this will be drawn out and blown off which will force me to stray from Michelin and their partners for all of my vehicles. I would much appreciate a direct response, at which point we can resolve this, or i can put you in contact with the dealer if you would prefer. My goal here is to put tires on this truck that i can trust, and not lose faith in your company. I have added photos, but they really don't make the wear clear. I would gladly have someone from your company see them in person and confirm that they are subpar.

Terrible tread life

These tires came on my 2021 f150. One of the reasons I purchased the specific trim truck that I did is because it came outfitted with Michelin tires….I figured that they would have a long life. This has NOT been the case. At 30,000 miles, these tires are just about at the end of their life. They are at about 3/32 to 4/32 tread left and are already feeling unsafe on wet roads…I cannot even imagine letting these continue to wear down to the wear indicators, although I don’t think it will take much longer. On top of that, the Michelin warranty states tires that come Oem on vehicles are not covered by treadwear warranty! These tires are indeed quiet on the road and smooth. But the tread life is absolutely terrible. With them wearing so fast, cost per mile make these a terrible value tire in my opinion. Now I’m shopping for new tires for a 2year old truck with 30k miles…..never had to replace tires so soon on a vehicle before. Disappointing (and expensive!).

IndyFour, you are correct, the original tires on your 2021 F150 do not have a mileage warranty. However, our team is here and we want to help. A member of our team will be in touch to discuss further and help with a solution.

I recommend this tire

90,810 miles Not Bad

They came on my 2018 Ford F150. Love the ride and low sound levels. It is June 2023 and I am replacing them after the first tire to go bad at 90,810 miles. I rotated them every 10,000 miles. Would buy again.

Junk tires

Theses tires came on my 2019 Ford f-150. I have not even driven 15,000 miles on them and the dealership tells me may need to replace soon. I have share the same thought! The tread is awful. tires are balance and alignment is good. My wife has michelin on her explorer same miles one year older and has 3 times the amount of trend. Really disappointed in Michelin. This has been a second set I am not impressed with at all. Sucks wet weather too!

Good other than in any snow

These tires are fine in ideal driving conditions but I do not trust them in any amount of snow (even a trace) which results in poor traction in my experience. I would not buy these tires again.

I liked these tires

These came on my 19 expedition. Got 72,000 miles out of them. Don’t know why all the bad reviews. I followed the owners Manuel and rotated them every other oil change. Also, followed the rotation pattern

Not great on snow

Overall highway driving has been very good and I’ve had no issues. We’re great first 15,000 mi. At 25,000 miles the dealership told me I need new tires. I’ve rotated them every 5,000 miles. They aren’t great in snow now. There is enough tread to make it to next fall as the cost of tires is high to replace just yet. I just have to take it easy on bad weather days. I have 31,000 miles on them now.

Stay away, Short Tread Life

These are OEM tire that came with my 21 Ford F150 new. They are junk a little over 20500 miles and the are junk Tread is almost gone. Noisy on cement but not on blacktop. Already took them off because of winter !needed more tread. Very disappointed in this tire. Tires were rotated every 5000 miles too.

A Good Tire

A good tire that came on the F150 new at purchase. I never had a problem. I rotated them every oil change. The 55,000 estimate is about correct. I'm at 52,500 and they are about done. I'm switching to the LTX M/S next, similar price and 70,000 miles.
