Primacy Tour A/S TIRE REVIEW

I bought these tires in June 2021. I have 20k miles on them and the dealership is telling me I will need new tires before winter. This was my 3rd set of Michelin tires, I currently have 53k miles on my car,

Premature Wear

My equinox came factory with Michelin tires. They wore worn out by 40,000 km. They had warranty for them due to the premature wear. I had to replace with the Michelin primacy tour (didn’t get a choice for the warranty replacement). These now have 35,000km on them and less than 3/32 tread left. Very disappointed these wear out so fast. Don’t waste your money on these.

The Best

Have now had these tires for more then a month. They are the smoothest and quietest tires I have ever had. I realized this in just the first 100 feet of use! My last set of tires began to chunk, they were not Michelin. Had these tires because could not get Michelins and regretted getting them. But now back to Michelins, and enjoying them on my Volt.

Primac Tour A/S - Do not last - Tread is gone

I purchased a set 2.5 years ago (Nov 2019). I have always bought Michelin's (usually the Latitudes). I also put them on my wife's and daughter’s SUV's. This was my first try with the Primacy Tours. 40K KM into them, the tread is almost gone. The website "https://www.michelin.ca/en/auto/tires/michelin-primacy-tour-a-s" is not clear if the warranty is 50K, 75K or 90K. The pdf of the warranty itself recommends viewing "www.michelin.ca/promise", but that is a "404 not found". The on-line chat/bot doesn't know where Ottawa Canada is? All very frustrating. I've had regular maintenance checks on my SUV, and I rotate the tires myself every 12,000 KM. I do not recommend these tires and am contemplating moving away from Michelin on this next set.

Excellent Tires

They came with my 2019 Hyundai Tucson and I have had no issues with them at all. They are smooth and quiet and the treadmill wear has been excellent. Unfortunately I picked up a nail in one of them in a place that cannot be plugged and I cannot find a replacement tire to purchase anywhere. I'm told that they are sold out across Canada and not sure if they are continuing to be made. Hoping someone may be able to clarify. I would really love to by another and not have to mismatch.

I got the primacy tour tires on my car with my lease, they wore out quickly at 26k miles, I called Michelin and was back and forth a few times because of the dealership and Michelin was so kind and responsive! Was upset with the tires but the customer service saved everything, helped resolve everything and has been such a pleasant experience!

Great Zero Pressure Run Flat Tires

I've put only about 200 miles on the tires but they are light years better than the OEM Dunlops that came with my Q50S. They are much quieter with more precise steering. They do ride a little hard but that is expected from run flats. But not nearly as hard as the OEM Dunlops. They look great on the car with excellent tread design. I feel much more secure driving my Q50S with them especially in the rain. The Primacy Tour All Season ZP tires don't feel like run flat tires when driving on the highway or neighborhood streets. If your looking to replace the run flat tires on your vehicle and want to stick with run flats, I would consider this tire without regret.

Thump, thump, after 22,500 miles, delaminating tread!

Came new on 2020 Kia Sportage. 22,500 miles later and tread is delaminating! Dealer will not honor warrantee!!???

very quiet but lacking winter performace

these came on my 2022 explorer and when driving on pavement or wet roads they are great! living up north we get lots of snow/ice and these tires have us sliding all over the road. Not a very good all season, more of a summer tire

DO NOT LAST

I purchased my 2020 Chevy Blazer with 18 miles on the car September 2020 and these tires came on it. I've had constant maintenance checks on my car and rotated tires each recommended mileage and my car just hit 32k miles and 1 tire has ZERO tread left and two others have barely any. I'm having to replace all of my tires at 32k miles and after having Michelin tires on every single one of my vehicles for the last 12 years - I do not recommend these tires and am contemplating moving away from Michelin on this next set.
