Unmatched Performance and Grip: Michelin Motorbike Tyres Take Your Ride to the Next Level!
I recently fitted Michelin motorbike tyres to my bike, and I am thoroughly impressed! The grip and handling are exceptional, offering confidence in both dry and wet conditions. Whether I’m cornering at high speeds or navigating tight turns, the tyres provide excellent stability and traction. The ride feels smoother, and I can definitely notice an improvement in overall performance. The longevity is also great, and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in wear compared to previous brands. Michelin has truly delivered a top-tier product for motorcyclists. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their ride!

Road 5 - great tire for muddy roads!
I had the Road 5's on my 2002 R1150RS that I recently sold. I road that bike through PA in the rain on roads where there was a lot of fracking for oil going on. The bike and I got covered in gray slime but the Road 5's held the road and I never felt unsafe riding!

Absolutely amazing tires!
These are good for everything, but especially amazing in the rain. I have them on my 2017 FZ10 which recently transferred from my touring/commuting bike into track/fun rides only, and I'm still happy with the Road 5's until they wear down. We had a lot of rainy track days this summer and I got a lot of compliments on how comfortable I'm riding in the rain, all thanks to having 100% confidence in these tires.
Thank you for the compliment. We are glad that you liked our product.

decent, edges too hard, too long to heat up
i was not impressed with the so called "softer/grippier" edges on the road 5 and 6.. they are still too hard and take to long to heat up.... road 7 needs road 5/6 center, with a pilot power 2ct edge!!
Hi Richard, thank you for your review of the Michelin Road 5 tire. Your opinion is important to us.

Best overall motorcycle tire there is.
The road 5 is an amazing motorcycle tire that gives the rider a good feedback. I own a 2018 CBR1000RR and this is the second set of Michelin that I have put on my bike. By the way I have put over 16,800 miles on my CBR1000RR and these tires have done a better job than the Pirelli Angel.

Would recommend to any sportbike rider
Run these on my zx10r and my gsxr 1100. I've tried a good number of tires in the last 30 years and for the last 3 almost 4 I swear by these. Great for the horrible roads and weather of alaska
Hi Russell, thank you for your review of our MICHELIN Road 5 tires! We appreciate your feedback. Great to hear about their great performance on the roads in Alaska.

Road 5s ran 15000 miles on cb500f
After 15,000 miles there was still tread but the rubber was done. Maybe the tire could stand to be a bit softer for our lighter bikes likes the cb500f.
Hi Nolan. Thanks for your feedback on MICHELIN Road 5 tires. To be clear, the carcass of the tire is the primary factor that delivers handling characteristics based on the weight of a motorcycle. We offer MICHELIN Road 5 tires in a standard version, which offers superb handling for a wide range of sport, sport touring and roadster type bikes, and a GT version with an extra bias belt ply for heavier sport touring motorcycles. The tread compound directly affects grip and longevity. A softer compound would offer more grip but wear out much faster. Thanks again for choosing Michelin! We wish you long and safe rides.

Good Handling, High Mileage
I have been using Michelin PRs on my 2016 Yamaha FJR1300 for 5 years, and this is my second set of PR 5s. Got 12k on the last set, front and rear. Handling is good, wet grip excellent - important in Florida during our wet summers.

I've got a 1200 ninja and a cbr1100xx they both love these tires
Rain or dry feels about the same on these tires it's amazing! And the mileage is unreal and believe me I ride hard at 180+ speeds daily. So I can't be worrying over sacrificing my life due to the few $ I might've saved by going for the cheaper allegedly stickier tire. I'll kill a front tire lot faster than rear tire sometimes but yeah I'm not complaining I'll go through 3 sets of those cheaper Tires before I will eat up just one set of these. And again the rain issue. On these Michelin Tires there's no issue at all
Hi Joker! We appreciate your feedback of the MICHELIN Road 5 tire! Glad you're enjoying its stickiness and longevity!

Road 5 Mileage Sucks
Only got 5000 miles out of Road 5's. Switched back to Pilot Road 2's. Cheaper and longer lasting as I ride 12000 miles a year.
Hi Bill, thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback on our MICHELIN Road 5 tire.
