Great grip - BUT at the cost of overall tire longevity
Overall, a very good all-rounder road tire. Excellent wet weather and cornering grip. Better riding comfort and road feedback than previous tires tested. However, this tire can't last as long as my previous brands I've tried. Rear tire wearing out at 10,000km - barely even making half distance of previous tested ones (baseline for maximum tire life is 22,000 km). Would I recommend this as a daily commuting tire? - YES Would I recommend this as touring tires for underbone and small displacement bikes? - MAYBE NOT
We’re glad to hear you appreciate the grip and comfort of the Pilot Street 2 tires, especially in wet conditions and cornering. For riders who prioritize durability for touring or long-distance use, we recommend visiting a local authorized dealer to discuss options that best fit your riding style and needs. Great tire for 2013 HONDA CBR 250RA
I bought these tires to replace the OEM tires on my 2013 HONDA CBR 250RA which are advertised as having excellent traction in wet weather. I do occasionally ride in the rain and have not have any issues. The front tire features a unique reverse directional tread design and I grateful for the directional markings on the sidewall which helped me to ensure the tires were mounted in the right direction.

Good Price and better quality
the tires grip better and are more stable and feel more Safe when riding

Wore out quickly
I have a 2022 Zero S and I only got 6600 miles out of this tire before I started seeing metal. The tire was good otherwise.

Satisfied so far
I have been using it on my Yamaha XSR155 for the last 6 months and it never let me down the handling, the grip even when it rains or sudden braking I really love its performance.

can you run the 90-80-16 on the front when its built for the rear
the 90-8-16 is made for the rear but can you run it on the front
Hi Brotherton, motorcycles should be equipped with the size of tire specified by the motorcycle manufacturer or the Michelin fitment guide. The MICHELIN Pilot Street 2 tire 80/90 16 tire is specifically made for the rear and should not be used for the front.

Pilot street 2 is a budget upgrade tire for my dominar
This tire is a budget upgrade from my stock tire of Dominar 400 for my daily travel. I highly recommend this to the one's looking for performance and quality tire but won't break the bank.
