Review Summary
The tires provide good grip and handling on both paved roads and light off-road terrain, with a balance between on-road and off-road capabilities. However, some users report the tires can be noisy, particularly the rear tire, and experience relatively short tire life, especially for heavier riders. A few cases of premature tire failure were also noted. Overall, the tires offer solid performance and long-lasting tread for most users, though noise and wear rate may be a concern for some.

Great tires for my riding
This is my second set of Anakee Adventures. They work really well for the type of riding I do on my KTM 1290S. I get about 8,000 miles out of set, which is comparable to more street oriented tires. They are excellent in rain. The front wore very well with no cupping or weirdness. The front is a little noisy, but not that bad for the performance.

Best Overall Tire for My ADV Riding
I've run these on my BMW R1200GS Adventure a couple of times. They are probably the best overall tire. I ride with confidence everywhere except mud or very deep sand on these tires. If your ADV bike does more touring than off-road, these are perfect.

Great on road and light off road.
I’m on a 2022 1250gsa I’m on my second rear tire and they are great, my first rear tire lasted 20,000 miles and it still had tread but was flush with the wear bars so I replaced it for safety, front tire is still on haven’t replaced it yet and I’m now at 30,000 miles and it’s just now starting to get close to the wear bars, great tire all around. Air pressure is key I always make sure before I ride that my air pressure is exactly to the spec down to the tenths of psi this makes a huge difference in wear to the tire.

Great mileage, a bit loud in front
I ve run these for 6 years now and consistently get good mileage out of them. They have good traction and handle well. Now on my 3rd set.

An excellent all around tire
Like any dual purpose tire, it has compromises, but overall it does everything very well. It is phenomenal on pavement, low road noise, amazing handling. The only drawback is the rear seems to only last about 6,000 miles for me. Off road it does incredibly on dirt forest roads. In serious mud however it loads up quickly and looses traction. I have had 3 sets, and think they compliment my bmw gsa 1250 perfectly

1992 R100 GS Paris-Dakar
These tires transformed the ride on this bike from Ho-hum to being especially enjoyable. Hold the road extremely well and very comfortable ride

Anakee Adventure tires
As a motorcyclist and an avid rider, I ride a BMW R1250 GSA and the Michelin Anakee Adventure is one of the best tires on the market. I get about 10 K to 14 K miles out of a rear tire and 20K to 24K out of a front tire on the highways and back roads of Southern California. These tires are great both on the street and the fire roads/dirt roads. These tires work great in the rain and dry conditions of Southern California. These tires are 80/20 and work great for most riding. I would recommend these tires for most riders.

Anakee Adventure vs Anakee III
I ride a 2017 BMW GS Adventure. It was factory equipped with Anakee III tires. With a little over 7,000 miles on the Anakee III's, I replaced them with Anakee Adventure tires. The Anakee III's were down to the wearbars at that time. The Anakee Adverture tires were a little noisier but offered great stability and all weather grip. The only thing I noticed that was different from the Anakee III's was the initial reluctance for the bike to turn. It was not difficult to initiate a turn but I believe the tread pattern offered some resistance when beginning a turn. I also think this tendency diminished as the front tires wore. It was not a problem, the GS just handled a little differently. I replaced the Anakee Adventure tires at 16,500 miles with another set of Adventures. I probably could have ridden with them for another 1,000 to 1,500 miles but our club was taking a 2,200 ride and we were facing potential inclement weather. I wanted the peace of mind new tires offer. These are excellent 80/20 tires for the BMW GSA. Excellent all weather grip, long lasting, smooth and stable. I recommend them to anyone looking for an all weather tire.

Tires, so good that I bought a second pair.
The tires were OEM on my R 1250 GS. When I needed a new set of tires, I had to buy the same Anakee Adventures. They were fantastic. Great, wet and dry and traction.
