Must be VERY soft compound and very suspect to road debris flats.
I have never owned a set of tires that were penetrated by road debris as easy as these. There is ZERO chance I would run these tires off road. Three blow out flats in the first 10,000 miles.

Works great for my 2017 Nissan Titan.
I am really glad that I bought the tires when I did. These tires have been great on the highway and on City streets. We got our annual ice and snow storm here in Memphis they proved to be very reliable. Went on the ice like anything else you're going to get a little slippage, however these tires did very well even on the ice. I am very proud of the tires and I'm very happy of the decision I made to purchase them. For me they drive very comfortably and without very much noise at all. As far as fuel efficiency they do pretty well. I give them a five out of 5 stars and will purchase again in the future.

Great tire on highway in summer no noise in the winter they are atrocious on ice get stuck on flat ground horrible for stopping in winter they are an accident waiting to happen!!!!!!!!
Weāre glad to hear your Michelin LTX trail tires perform well for you in summer conditions, but weāre sorry for the difficulties youāve experienced on winter ice. If youād like assistance exploring options better suited for winter traction, weāre here to help. Give us a call at 888-871-4444 (MonāFri 8 AMā7 PM EST, Sat 9 AMā1 PM EST).

Quite smooth ride
He's LTX tires came on my new Toyota 4Runner TRD off road. I have 1500 miles on these tires and the majority have been highway, Street driving, and a few cow Trails basically unpaved roads. Have not gone over rocks or anything that potentially could damage the tire. For quietness and fuel economy and just general local potholes and rough roads these tires have been very good. And I am a tire guy so I understand that as tires where they get harder and rougher riding so I typically don't keep tires more than about 45k miles. These tires are rated at 50 so they might be replaced at 35 to 40K. But that's just me because I like fresh rubber.

I'm a Fan of the LTX Trail - follow-up
Follow-up from previous review. At 21K on the mileage, I'm still a big fan of the LTX Trail. I measured wear at 6/32" (10/32" new) so I'm assuming these will get about 40K? Perhaps they wear faster than advertised however, I'll take the trade-off for exceptional highway ride and rock solid trail performance I'm experiencing. I believe these are better than Defenders BOTH highway and trail performance (bold statement), but you do sacrifice on longevity. Everybody's needs are different but for me, that use case works. Hope that helps.

Great tire
Ive heard a lot of complaints regarding these tires and I have to say I think the complaints are from those who just like to complain.. Good, Solid, Smooth Riding, Good Looking, they wear well with proper care and driving habits. These came on my Toyota Tundra and wont use anything else as long as they are still produced.

wearing way too fast
These came on my 23 tundra trd package and advertised as run flats but they are not. Also they shredded by 17k miles even with alignments and rotations . Found that the outer edge wears extremely fast and chunks of tire coming off even with no gravel roads. not a good look. I liked the way the looked on the truck but performance wise its a nope. Had to replace at 31k miles
Weāre sorry to hear about this issue. The LTX Trail is not designed as a run-flat tire, and we understand how that could be misleading if advertised otherwise. We encourage you to contact our Consumer Care team. They can help assess your situation and recommend alternative tire options that better suit your driving needs. If you like terrible tires you'll love these.
Reading through the reviews and I'm in the same horrible boat. These tires came with my 2023 Tundra and lasted under 35k with several punctures during that time. (New England roads) looking to get new tires now before winter gets here but won't be getting these. I work at a dealership and they were rotated every 5k miles.
Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear the LTX Trail tires didnāt meet your expectations, especially given your regular maintenance and rotation schedule. If you'd like to discuss further or would like help choosing the best fit for your needs, please feel free to give our Consumer Care team a call. Not durable. Shallow tread OEM tires.
OEM on my Toyota Tundra TRD off-road 2024 for my personal use. These are quiet, have good fuel efficiency, but these have only 10/32ā of thread depth when new. As I see the wear of these after 25000 km, these will clearly reach wear markers before 50 000 km. Moreover, I have a set of dedicated winter tires so wear is shared. How can they put tires that has grooves that shallow on vehicles of this price? Other brands have 13, 15, even 16/32ā on their AT tires. So, Iām very disappointed about durability. They will last two seasons. I have Bridgestone Blizzaks LT for the winter, 18/32ā thread depth, and they ride as comfortable as the Michelins even if these are LTs. I would have considered AT2s for the next set if these LTX trail would have shown better potential. I had Defenders on my previous Highlander and CX-3 and these were a lot more durable.
jmgas, we are sorry to read that your tires are nearing replacement prior to delivering the expected mileage. The first step is to take your vehicle to an authorized Michelin retailer so that the tires can be inspected. Then, give us a call at 888-871-4444 8am-5pm EST Mon-Fri.

I'm a fan of the LTX Trail
OEM for my 2024 Land Cruiser, so far after 10K they have been outstanding tires. Smooth and quiet on pavement and superb performance in Florida off-road (sandy), and wet conditions. There seems to be a lot haters out there complaining of excessive wear, snow grip, and durability. All I can say is I've experience "defender-like" performance. If they get 30k+, I'll buy them again.
