I recommend this tire

I'm a Fan of the LTX Trail - follow-up

Follow-up from previous review. At 21K on the mileage, I'm still a big fan of the LTX Trail. I measured wear at 6/32" (10/32" new) so I'm assuming these will get about 40K? Perhaps they wear faster than advertised however, I'll take the trade-off for exceptional highway ride and rock solid trail performance I'm experiencing. I believe these are better than Defenders BOTH highway and trail performance (bold statement), but you do sacrifice on longevity. Everybody's needs are different but for me, that use case works. Hope that helps.

Good look and feel but wear out VERY quickly

Always been a Michelin fan so was happy to see that these were on my new tundra. 27k miles in and I’m already looking to replace them before winter. They wore out sooo fast. Truck hasn’t even been used for hauling or anything.

Only lasted 1.5 years and 20,000 miles

These LTX Trail's came stock on my 2022 Tundra SR5 Offroad. At my routine service at 18,500 miles, they had worn down to 5/32 by the dealership's measurements. I just passed 20,000 miles and they were barely touching Lincoln's head using a penny as a depth gauge. I went ahead and replaced them before they got completely slick. Pretty disappointing considering the great past experiences I've had with Michelin Defenders on other vehicles.

TREAD WEAR

THESE LTX TRAIL CAME ON MY 2022 TUNDRA I GOT ABOUT 18000 MILES ON THEM AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE IN THE RAIN ALREADY, NOT MUCH TREAD LEFT ON THE TIRES. WINTER THIS YEAR SHOULD BE FUN.
