Very quiet and smooth. I love the way they handle. I live in a hilly / mountainous terrain where we get all four seasons. Recently we had a significant snow fall and we had to make a sudden stop due on the freeway. I was thankful that we had the Michelin Defender 2's. We stopped on a dime without any slippage. I can't comment on wear and durability because I haven't had them long enough but from other reviews that I've read from many sources, these were the "BEST" Recommended tire for my vehicle (Subaru Ascent). Tire look great is very grip and and very durability
I love the tires. It snowed about 6 inches and didn’t have any trouble at all. The tires are very quiet and the ride is very smooth. I’m getting ready to purchase another set for my other vehicle.
