I have been going to Kal Tire since the 90's an spent hundreds of dollars had few problems but staff has always polite until today.I have had tirer an sensors problems for a long time.I get my tires checked when the sensor warning is on.Today after l asked if they could check the tire pressures because of the warning light the (ASSISTANT MANAGER) ASKED IF BOUGHT MY TIRES AT CAL TIRE TWICE because l didn't answer him the first time. l was shocked THAT IS NOT THERE POLICY HE WAS RUDE.I'm a 70 year old man being disrespected.So if you don't have there tires they won't check the tire pressure.The assistant manager needs more training an a course on manners.

Booked an appointment in advance for wheel alignment at a particular time, as I could not leave my vehicle there.
I asked while booking if it's okay if I wait until it's done, they said for sure it will take one hour.
I showed up at the agreed time and waited for an hour and 15 minutes.
When I asked if my vehicle is done, I learned that they did not even start working on it, and I was informed they will start working on it as soon they can.
I really don't see a point in booking an appointment then.
So after losing an hour and a half of my time, I'm supposed to wait for who knows how long.
I just took my keys and left.
Will never go back there again and would not recommend them to anyone else.
If I could give negative stars, I would.

Terrible experience, simply wanted a quote to get prices and order tires. Continually got told that the tires I was requesting were out of stock so they couldnt be ordered. Said im fine with waiting. Wouldn't quote them. Kept quoting off shore brands. Specifically requested No off shore brands. Without hesitation the fella keeps listing off shore brands. All I wanted was a quote and couldnt even get that after this horrendous call. Called a different location and just like magic I not only got the quote i needed. I got the tires I asked for the first time around... no out of stock BS.

When booking my appointment for new tires a week ahead of time, I asked to have my alignment checked, and to do an alignment if needed.
I dropped off my vehicle at 11am. After 4 phonecalls back and forth(including me asking if the alignment was done, and was told the alignment was good) I got a call at about 345 saying my vehicle was ready.
When I arrived to pay and pick up, I was told the alignment check was not done. They did the alignment check at that point and discovered I needed an alignment. I was then told I would have to make another appointment for an alignment.
5 hours to put on new tires, and not so the other requested services is a bit ridiculous, and now I have to waste my time on another day to have this done.
This is extremely frustrating.

Do not trust them. My daughter took her car there for a tire swap. She had 8 tires on 8 rims. She wanted TWO new winter tires. They should have kept the 4 summers on the summer rims and swapped out her older 2 winter tires for 2 new winter tires. She had previously bought 2 new winter tires Nov 2023 from them. Hakkapeliita brand, so not cheap tires - good, long-lasting tires. They took ALL EIGHT of her old tires, including her 2 new ones from 2 yrs ago, and they returned 4 empty summer rims, and they sold her 4 new winter tires for $1200. I am currently awaiting a call back, but I am way less than pleased (ok, fuming!!) with them taking complete advantage of my daughter.
