Review Summary
Customers are sharply divided. Many praise smooth, quiet rides and responsive handling, with strong brand loyalty among long-time users. However, nearly half report serious issues: premature tread wear under 40,000 miles, unexpected sidewall blowouts with no visible damage, and poor performance on grooved pavement. Some experience wet traction problems and flat-spotting. The contrast between loyal advocates and recently disillusioned customers reveals growing concerns about product consistency and quality, challenging the brand's historical reputation.

Poor Tire Life
Purchased a new Kia Telluride from a dealer in Maine in August 2023. After 3 years and 32K miles the tires need to be replaced. This past winter the car was sliding everywhere in the snow with less than 30K miles so I knew I was going to have to get them replaced prior to this winter coming up. I have had Michelin tires on many of my cars and been happy with them; however, I am extremely disappointed in the life of these tires.
We're sorry to hear you're disappointed with the tread life of your Primacy LTX tires. Tire wear and winter traction can be affected by several factors, including driving conditions, maintenance, and vehicle application, but we understand your concerns given the mileage you described. To determine whether your tires may qualify for warranty consideration, we recommend having them inspected by an authorized tire retailer. Once the inspection is complete, please contact our Consumer Care team with the results at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST). We'd be happy to review your situation and discuss available options.

Not good.
Well. These tires are really not good! They came with my Jeep Cherokee 4xe. I have had to have them filled and patched numerous times. The right back tire always had a slow leak since when I first purchased the car. That tire finally gave out yesterday. Glad I decided to do some research and read these reviews. I will not be going with these same tires unfortunately.

Super!
Great tires! They are smooth and quiet on the road.
Burst in 11th Day
We paid more to get Michelin tyres for our Mazda CX9, trusting the name. It burst on the HWY on the 11th day. My son could have died if he was not already in thw right lane. All the trauma and emails to the company thay offered us a credit for one tyre, which was a "generous exception". They were offended that we returned the tyre and bought different ones. Never buying or recommending Michelin again. The way they handled the whole situation was unexpected from the so called "reputable" company.
We're sorry to learn about this distressing situation & we'd like the opportunity to discuss further. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact. In the meantime, please feel free to give us a call at 888-871-4444 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

EXCELLENT TIRES EXPERIENCE
My 2022 KIA TELLURIDE came equipped with these. At 49,646 miles the tires have been flawless on an AWD vehicle. Many long trips throughout CA and out to VEGAS, the asphalt roads very hot to touch. Also the roads leading from San Diego up north to e.g.Napa are in poor condition, especially through LA. Have never had a PANIC STOP or driven in snow/ice so cannot comment on those conditions. Sorry to hear of other owners bad luck but I've drioven Michelins for over 50 years w/o problems, and I do drive hard. JDB
43,000 Miles and no issues
These tires came on my 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. I drive mostly in Arizona and the western states, usually in perfect conditions on paved roads. I have 43,000 miles and about 4/32 of tread left, these should go 50,000 but I am looking for replacements. I was surprised by the negative reviews I saw here, my experience has been very good so far. My Santa Cruz is very quiet and road noise is not an issue.
Reasonable fuel efficiency, quiet for normal driving, easy rolling, good traction with new tread... time will tell, not showing wear at this point. Only about 8,000 miles so far.
