Sports Car Tire
I drive a sports car, and I drive it like a sports car. I don't track, or autocross, or stunt, or drift, or rip sweet smokey burnouts. I just want my tires to stick to the road, and that's what the Pilot Sport 4S does. You can lean hard into turns with confidence. Your wife will squeel long before the tires do. Braking is excellent. She'll be stomping on her imaginary peddle, but you can stop on a dime. Plus, it's good to make sure those seat belt tensioners work. These tires have very low road noise too. They won't drown out the sound of your engine, music, or her telling you to slow down. These are proper sports car tires. I highly recommended them.

Really Wanted the New Pilot Sport 5's
These tires were OE on my 2023 AMG SL 63. Great handling, precise response and grip but terrible tread wear. Got only 13,000 miles!!! I wanted to replace them with the new Michelin Sport 5's but they weren't available for the front so I reluctantly went with another set of the Pilot Sport 4 S. I briefly considering going with the Pilot All Season, but I wasn't willing to sacrifice the performance aspect of my car for convenience.

Sidewall bubble at 4k miles
Great handling tires but a bubble popped up in sidewall at only 4k miles. No impact no scuff on tire.. it seems like air got in-between the sidewall layers

High performance
Love these tires on my Integra type S. They ride really smooth, extra grip on cornering and breaking. Everything you would want in a high performance tire. I blow through them in less than 20k miles but that’s a ME problem….

Check the DOT age of your Tires
Check the manufacturer date of the tires! I put low mileage (4000) on this car with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on this garaged car. The tires are almost 5 yrs on car with approx 24000 miles and the tires are showing aging problems. The outer edges of the tires are splitting. The alignment was done about 1.5 years ago. So I checked the DOT age of the tire and realize that the tires were 3 years old when they were sold and installed on the car. Who sells 3 yr old tires. Tire Rack tells you when they sell you old tires and marks them down. That is a reputable company. But not where I bought these tires.
