Review Summary

Customers overwhelmingly praise these tires for exceptional smoothness, quietness, and superior traction in wet, snow, and icy conditions, with many reporting 70,000 to over 100,000 miles of use with substantial tread remaining. Reviewers consistently highlight improved ride comfort and reduced road noise, with strong loyalty evident across multiple vehicle purchases. However, some customers report tread wear between 20,000 and 45,000 miles, falling short of expectations. Despite these concerns, most customers consider the tires reliable and recommend them for confident all-weather performance.

2025 Mercedes Benz GLS 580

I traded my OEM Continental tires on my 2025 Mercedes Benz GLS 580 after 8500 miles because they didn't last. They gave a very soft and quiet ride. Mercedes recommended 31 psi in front and 37 psi in the rear. Discount Tire put in 44 psi all-round. Pilot Sport 4's are extremely noisy at that tire pressure and givies a very hard ride so I am reducing the tire pressure to what Mercedes recommends. Hopefully that will soften the ride and quiet the road noise. Hopefully that tire pressure will not damage the tires.

Thanks for sharing your experience and for choosing the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV. Sorry to hear about the noise and ride comfort. Tire pressure can make a big difference, so adjusting to your vehicle’s recommended settings is a great move and won’t harm the tires. This should help improve both comfort and road noise. If you need additional assistance, feel free to call our Consumer Care team at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

I recommend this tire

Handling, grip, traction

A superb tire, the best. Had Sports on my Cayman S and my Audi S3. Handles like its “sister” the Macan S.

premature wear

These tires came on my 2018 RAV4. With only 39,000 miles, the center tread is completely smooth. I've owned many sets of Michelin tires and never had any wear out so soon.

Janice, we're sorry to hear you are experiencing premature wear with your Latitude Tour HP tires. Premature or uneven wear can sometimes be influenced by factors such as tire inflation or alignment, so we recommend having the tires inspected by an authorized tire dealer. They can evaluate the condition and review any available warranty options. If additional assistance is needed, our Consumer Care team would be glad to help. You can reach us at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Don't Buy if you Will Need in Snow

Very disappointed. Short 30k warranty, which I was ok with. Ride on dry conditions feels unstable and in snow they are HORRIBLE! Twice I was driving in snow and both times I had to go to right lane and put my hazard lights on I was driving so slow - being passed by every small car on the interestate. Would never buy again.
