* Mileage Warranty Exceptions

Split fitments - If your vehicle has tires of different sizes on the front versus the rear axles, your tires cannot be rotated as recommended. Therefore, the mileage warranty on each rear tire will cover half the number of miles as the standard mileage warranty for that particular tire line.
ZP (Zero Pressure) tires - The maximum mileage warranty for ZP tires is 50,000 km.

All Michelin® tires have a Standard Manufacturer's Limited Warranty, which covers defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the original usable tread, or for 6 years from date of purchase, whichever occurs first. See warranty for details

expensive short life tire

This tire came as factory equipment on my 2012 Ford Focus Titanium as part of the "handling package". The car is driven 35,000 km/yr - a mix of city and highway - primarily as a commuter car. The tire and suspension setup handles well in summer condition (wet or dry). The Pilot sport tires were replaced with XIce snowtires for winter driving, so i can't comment on how the Pilot's might work (or not) in winter conditions

I noticed a reduction in average fuel economy with this tire relative to the XIxce winter tires - about 0.8 l/100km increased fuel consumption with the Pilot tires as compared to the XIce.

The Pilot tires wore down to the tread wear bars after about 25,000 km. I find that totally inexcusable on a compact car thats never driven hard. Michelin, you need to figure out how to build a tire that lasts more than a few months!
