As usual, Michelin Does It Again !

        Comments about Premier A/S:

I bought a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L new. I loved the ride and all the amenities included in this model but was concerned about the tires that came with the car. After 8,400km I hit a "bump" in the road, one that I felt was of no consequence, however, the rear tire on the passenger side suffered a break between the flank and underside (portion of the tire that is on the road). I was told that the repair might not hold since this is where the tire works the hardest. That did it for me, I purchased the that had NEVER given me problems over more than 40 years of driving: Michelin. The Primacy A/S were the new kid on the block so to speak, as so I went with these. As soon as I started riding on these, well, it was as if I had a brand new car. And so the title of this review, Michelin does it again. Thank you !!!

              Comments about Premier A/S:

I am extremely disappointed in these tires. I do not feel that they
live up to the quality reputation that Michelin has earned with their
other tires over the years. I've been through 2 sets in less than a
month due to a persistent balance issue that my dealership just
cannot seem to be able to resolve. The tires were balanced several
times by various techs in the dealership, using traditional and
"road force" balancing equipment, all to no avail. There is a vibration that starts at 80 km/h, and continues till 100 km/h, and causes a side -to-side shaking of the entire car. The dealership ordered a second set of tires, and installed those, with no effect.
The dealership has verified that there are no mechanical issues
with my car, a Chrysler Sebring convertible. As one set of tires has already been replaced under warranty (it was determined that they
were "flat spotted" due to improper storage), the dealership is
reluctant to order in another set. The saga continues...
I would not recommend these tires at all.

This tire is very un attractive in appearance. The sidewall had many scurrilous things on it. Where the tread meets the side wall it is just plane ugly. It looks like that you have snow tires on the car

The MK4 the previous set of tires were far more attractive in appearance with the chrome wheels
